Fiaz Jaleel, M.D is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation via the American Board of Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation and in Pain Medicine via the American Board of Pain
Medicine. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation and holds Membership in the American Academy
of Pain Medicine, Florida Society
of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Florida Academy of Pain
Medicine and Florida Medical Association.
He believes Medicine is as much of an art as it is a Science & feels an
attentive ear and compassionate spirit is as valuable a tool as evidence
Dr. Jaleel attended medical school at the University of the West Indies
in Jamaica and the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and graduated in
1987. Dr. Jaleel worked for the Ministry of Health in Trinidad & Tobago
for 9 years. He completed a one year Internship in Internal Medicine at
St. Francis Hospital in Chicago in 1997. Dr. Jaleel then finished his
Residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Barnes Jewish
Hospital/Washington University, St. Louis, MO in the year 2000.
He worked as a Medical Director of an inpatient Rehabilitation unit for
several years in the Midwest, then accepted a position with an
Orthopedic practice in the West Suburbs of Chicago in 2005, after which
he relocated to Florida.
